Thursday, July 19th:
Stahl Post 30 - 4, Post 10 Generals - 1:
Stahl holds on to first place with a 9 hit effort that featured a double by Dooley and a triple by Newton.

The Generals Drake Rivera singled in their only run in the 2nd, and  Brandon Murray doubled in the 7th. Gouge pitched a complete game for the win scattering 5 hits, Downey struck out 6 but took the loss for the Generals.

Fox Post 2 - 2, Post 3 Milford - 0: A great pitcher's duel tonight when Phil Berry took the mound for Milford and Dan Riecks pitched for Fox Post Two. 

Post Post scored 2 unearned runs in the 3rd inning when Sean Pool reached on a walk and and scored on an error and Luis Resh reached 2nd on an error, advanced to 3rd on a passed ball and scored on a SAC fly out to center field by Kyle Mace. 

Milford threatened in the bottom of the 7th when Garrett Mckee reached on a walk and Tanner King hit a base hit, but the Fox Post 2 defense and pitching held.

Post 25 Middletown - 10, Post 6 Patriots - 3: The Post 25 Firehawks pounded out 13 hits, and stole 9 bases as they cruised to a 10-3 win over the Post 6 Patriots Thursday.

The game was close until the 6th inning, when the Firehawks pushed 5 runs across the plate. Armando Estrada led the batting going 4 for 5 scoring 3 runs and adding an RBI. Stan Zulkowski batted 3 for 4 with one run scored and 2 RBI's and got the win in relief, fanning 5 Patriot batters in 3 innings of work.

Kyle Mister and Cole Schaffner both batted 2 for 3, Mister scored twice in the game.

DE Post 1 - 12, Delvets Post 1 - 0 (5): Giloti pitched a 3 hit shutout. Delvets turned a 7-5-2-4-2 triple play as there only high light.

Durney Post 27 - 9, R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 0: Continuation of a game stopped by darkness in June.

R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 8, Durney Post 27 - 3: R.C. takes charge in the 2nd game.

Wednesday, July 18th:
Stahl Post 30 at Fox Post 2:
It finally rained in Dover, but the game had to be called in the 2nd inning. Reschedule information to be announced later.

Tuesday, July 17th:
Post 6 Patriots - 12, Fox Post 2 - 10: Fox Post 2 pounded out 9 hits, but the Post 6 Patriots hit 16 as the Patriots and Tyler Absher (2-2) outlasted Fox Post 2, 12-10.<

Both teams scored 6 runs in an inning, Fox in the 2nd, and the Patriots in the 4th. The Patriots also had 11 stolen bases in the game, 3 by Kagen Yossick who also 3 for 5 with 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Jordan Stanley and Caine Collins also batted 3 for 5, Stanley scored 3, Collins 2. Yossick, Nick Cooper and Eric Wharton each doubled for the Pats.

For Fox, Luis Resh and Ken Anderson batted 2 for 4. Mike Pool hit a double.

Tyler Absher got the win, striking out 4 but allowing 6 walks. Andrew Mace took the loss in relief.

R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 15, DE Post 1 - 3 (6): R.C. Exploded for 15 runs being led by Greg Rostick who was a single shy of the cycle including a 6th inning 2 run home run. Joe Klusman was 2-5 with two doubles. Chuck Brooks bated 3-4 with a double, Jack Donnelly 2-4 with a double. Kyle Smith hit a 3 run home run in the 6th. Billy Phillips went 3-4 with a double while pitching a 6 inning complete game giving up 3 runs an striking out 7 with 1 walk.

Delvets Post 1 - 5, Post 10 Generals - 4 (10): Continuation of earlier tie - In a 10 inning battle Delvets pulled out the win. Kyle Bacher and Pugh battled each other in a pitchers duel into extra innings. tied 3-3 in the 9th

Post 10 pulled ahead 4-3 leadoff single from Johnson and eventually scoring the go ahead run on a single by Ciafardo.

In the bottom of the 9th Delvets responded with a leadoff single by Jon Harris a sac bunt by Kyle Bacher and after 2 walks Spencer Jones delivered a game tying Sac fly. In the top of the 10th Post 10 got a leadoff single by Bautista but he was erased by a nice double play turned by Matt Fullerton and Max Carney. Conner Simpson then struck out the final batter to end the top half of the 10th.

In the bottom of the 10th Max Carney led off with a single and Gabe Ricci after failing on 2 sac bunt attempts laced a double to left setting up 2nd and 3rd with no outs. Mike Annone promptly delivered the game winning single on the first pitch he saw.

Post 10 was led by Armistead 4-5, double, 2 RBI, Mcguirk 2-2, Bautista 2 hits and a run, Rivera double and a run, and Johnson 2 hits. Delvets was led by Gabe Ricci 3 hits, double and a run, and Mike Annone 2 hits and 3 RBI's.

Delvets Post 1 - 9, Post 10 Generals - 3: Kyle Bacher pitched a complete game giving up only 1 earned run with 3 strikeouts to pick up the win for Delvets. Offensively Delvets was led by Mike Annone 3-3, 3RBI, run, and a double, Gabe Ricci 2 hits, Rbi, and a double, Timmy Parks 2 hits, Matt Fullerton 2 hits, 2 runs, and a double, and Kyle Bacher with a double. The Generals were led by Roche double, Downey 2 hits and 2 runs, Dooley 2 hits and an rbi, and Murray 2 hits.

Stahl Post 30 - 10, Durney Post 27 - 0 (6): Ken Thomas pitched a 3 hit shutout with 5 K's and Lonie Funderbuck had 4 RBI's. Doubles in the game by Bradford, Funderbuck and Rodrigues for Stahl.

Monday, July 16th:

Post 25 Middletown - 8, R.C. DuPont - 8:
Called due to darkness - will be finished if it impacts the standings.

Sunday, July 15th:
Post 25 Middletown - 4, Durney Post 27 - 3 (9) Game 1:
Ryan DeShales pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 unearned runs and Arando Estrada got the win in relief.Quincy Waite batted 4 for 5 for Middletown, and drove in the winning run with a double in the bottom of the 9th. Costanzo batted 2 for 4 for Durney.

Post 25 Middletown - 9, Durney Post 27 - 9 (12) Game 2: Suspended in the 12th inning, tied 9-9.

Post 10 Generals - 9, Post 6 Patriots - 2:The Post 10 Generals pounded out 13 hits and took advantage of 4 walks and 3 hit batsmen to overpower the Post 6 Patriots in the first game of a double header in Seaford Sunday.

Tyler Hansen and Brandon Murray both batted 3 for 5, with an RBI. Hansen had one of two doubles hit by Post 10, Charles Ciafardo hit the other. Jamil Moore stretched a single into a double for the 2nd straight game, and scored on Jason Owens' RBI Single in the 4th. Owens batted 2 for 3 with an RBI and the second run scored by the Patriots.

Junior Bautista took the win in relief of Matt Downey, with 3 strikeouts in 3 innings of work.

The second game of the DH was postponed due to rain.

Saturday, July 14th:
Middletown Post 25 - 5, Stahl Post 30 - 4:
Race for the top 4 spots in the State Tournament got tighter as Middletown took a close game from Stahl at Wilson Field Saturday. Casey Parks and James Scully both doubled for Post 25, Michael Torres got the win with Armando Estrada earning a save.

R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 7, Post 3 Milford - 5: Milford took a 1 - 0 after first inning, then RC Dupont scored 3 in the third inning with 2 outs and 4 in the fifth inning with 2 outs.  Milford added 3 runs in the 6th to close the gap to 7-5 but it was not enough. For RC Dupont, True started on the mound for the first 4 inning and Owens pitched the final 3.  Cory McGinnes threw 5 inning for Milford with Cesar Vazquez pitching the final 2.

Post 10 Generals - 12, Fox Post 2 - 2 (5): Post Ten scored one in the first and 6 in the 2nd to take a 7 to 0 led. Charlie Ciafando went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and Nick Dooley had a triple and 3 rbis to lead Post Ten.  Tyler Hansen got the win and had 6 K's. 

Fox Post scored their only runs in the bottom of the fourth on Seth Brosuis double and Michael Pool 2 run Homerun.

Post 6 Patriots - 7, Devets Post 1 - 4:
Sussex West pitcher Cole Shaffner got his first win as he struck out 6 and scattered 8 hits in 6 innings as the Post 6 Patriots out hit the Delvets Post 1 team, 7-4. The Patriots also turned 3 double plays in the game - ending each of the last 3 innings..

Delvets made it a one run game in the 6th, as Matt Fullerton led off the inning with a double, then scored on Spencer Jones' RBI single. Kyle Bacher scored on a Wild Pitch but the second of the Patriot's 3 double plays, (Line drive to Bruce Mosley to Jason Owens) ended the threat.

The Patriots came roaring back as Jamil Moore (3 for 3 with an RBI on the day) stretched a seeing eye single into a double, then scored on Nick Cooper's 350 foot 2 run home run. Delvets had runners on 1st and 2nd with one out in the 7th, but Jordan Stanley, playing shortstop, turned his second 6-3 double play to end the threat, and the game.

Mike Annone also doubled for Delvets. Moore, Stanley and Jason Owens all doubled for the Patriots.
