Fox Post 2 - 12, Spooner Post 17 - 5: Fox trailed 5-0 in this game. More information later.

Tuesday June 21:
Stahl Post 30 - 4, Christiana Generals - 1: Demetrius Morris pitched a complete game for the Christina Generals but unfortunately recorded a loss.

Middletown Post 25 - 8, Post 10 Newark - 3:
Post 25 had 10 hits and solid pitching from Pat Peterson and Robert Margis to win in Newark. Post 25 was lead by Alex Zwier who had 3 hits including a 2 run homerun in the second inning. Stan Zulkowski had 2 doubles and Eric Peterson had 2 hits for Post 25. Ryan Vietri had 3 of the 6 hits for Newark.

Durney Post 27 - 9, Delvets - 3: Durney came back from a one run deficit in the top half of the seventh inning when Ty Hawthorne hit a single to drive in the tieing run, Joe Bermingham singled and  DJ Miller broke the tie with a three run homer. Durney added three more runs on a bases clearing double by Sam Goines.  DelVets Kyle Menchaca had two doubles for Delvets.

Ty Hawthorne got the win in relief of starting pitcher Joe Bermingham. DelVets Conner Mc Hugh had six strike outs.

R.C. Dupont Post 18 - 12, DE Post 1 - 10:

Fox Post 2 - 11, Milford Red Sox - 1:
Winning pitcher for Fox Post was Tommy Dill, who had 11 k,s . Nathan Poore pitched the first 4 inning for Milford and gave out one run on 2 hits. The game was tied 1 to 1 after 4 inning.

Fox Post scored 5 runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 6 to 1 lead. For Fox Post Stephen Barr had 2 hits, Zach Candeloro 3 hits, 2 rbi's, Bryce Morrow 3 hits, and Tommy Dill 2 hits

Sussex East Post 28 Warriors - 11, Post 6 Patriots - 1: Steve Ruggiere came on in relief of Zach Moesser and shut down the Pattriots to get the win. The Pats ran out of pitching in the 7th, allowing 5 runs that put the game totally out of reach.

Caine Collins doubled for the Pats, Zach Moeser and Collier Donald doubled for the Warriors. Moeser also had 4 RBIs in the game..

Saturday June 18:
Game 1 Delvets- 16, Spooner- 0  (5) : Wp- Kyle Menchaca (2-0) -  Kyle Menchaca pitched a complete game shutout for Delvets.Greg Miraglia had 3 hits, Andrew Jones had 2 hits, and Jarad Carney had a Triple to lead Delvets offensive attack.

Game 2 Delvets- 7, Spooner- 5: Wp- Collin Cassidy (1-0)  Collin Cassidy, John Miraglia, and John Ratkevich combined pitching for Delvets. Kyle Menchaca had a double and triple, Mike LaPlante had a triple, and Mike Annone and Andrew Jones also chipped in hits to lead Delvets offense.

Game 1 - Durney Post 27 - 11, R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 10:After a sixth inning gand slam by Kevin Rostick RC Dupont came back and tied the game in the top of the seventh inning.  In the Bottom half of the seventh with two outs, following singles by Todd Neal and Airene Shankaras Durney's Dan Brady hit a walk off single to win the game.

Joe Bermingham and Dan Tiberi and Airene Shankaris all had triples for Durney. Kevin Morente had 3 hits for RC Dupont. Chris Biddle took the loss for RC.

Game 2 - Durney Post 27 - 13, R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 2 (5): Durney Post pounded out 13 hits in the night cap while DP starter Lou Constanza allowed only three hits to get his first Legion win. Sam Goines went 4 for 4 including a game ending 2 run Home Run (he had 3 RBIs for the game).

Tyler Hawthorne went 3 for 3 with a double and a total of 4 RBIs for the day. Dominque Miller had two hits and scored 3 times.

Game 1 - DE Post 1 - 15, Post 28 Warriors - 3:Delaware Post 1 won the first game of a double header Saturday played at Indian River High School 15-3.

The winning pitcher was Bannon who pitched a two hitter. Newell was 3 for 3 with 5 rbi's and a home run.He also scored 3 runs. Hughes,Meizsman,Casanova and Beran also contributed 2 hits each for the Delaware Post 1 team.

Tyler Dean had a double and scored two runs and Collier Donald had one hit,one run and a  1 rbi for Post 28 Warriors.

Game 2 - DE Post 1 - 15, Post 28 Warriors - 0: Delaware Post 1 won the second game of the double header 15-0.New had 4 hits and scored 4 runs , Tunell,Newell,Paraskiewicz,Peoples and Beva all had two hits each for Delaware Post 1. Luke Czapp had two hits and Tyler Dean had two doubles for the Post 28 Warriors.

Thursday June 16:
Fox Post 2 - 11, Spooner Post 17 - 2 (5): The game was called in the top of the 6 inning because of rain. Winning pitcher for Fox Post was Zach Mawson who had 6 k's and gave up 3 hits. Losing pitcher was Brent McDowell. Mike Eckrich had a double and 2 rbi's for Post 17. 

The score was tied at 2 to 2 going into the bottom of the 4th. In the bottom of the fourth Fox Post scored 6 runs on 6 hits and a walk to take a 8 to 2 lead. For Fox Post Mitch Moore was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 rbi's, and Todd Burger was 2 for 3 with a double. Fox Post had a total of 11 hits. 

R.C. Dupont Post 18 - 6, The Generals - 5 (8):
A well pitched game by both pitchers, the Generals Downey threw 7 innings and struck out 7 with two walks giving up 5 runs only 3 of them earned in a no decision.

For R.C., Nolan Magee gave up 2 runs to also earn a no decision. Greg Rostick went 1-3 with one homerun. Steve Morente went 2-4 with a double that scored the tieing runs in the 7th.

In the 8th Hunter McHugh worked a walk and was Pinch Run for by Robert Brooks who stole second base. Ryan Keffer in his first at bat hit a walk off single to win the game. Danny Shea got the win with one scoreless inning of relief and Fairlay got the loss. For the Generals Bavarson went 2-4 with a double and 2 rbis.

Durney Post 27 - 4, Newark Post 10 - 3: Durney gets their first win of the year. Joey Bermingham picked up the win allowing only five hits and striking out 10. Ty Hawthorne picked up the save.

DE Post 1 - 12, Stahl Post 30 - 5: Sean Newell pitched 5 strong innings to get the win. Evan hughes was 4-4 with two runs scored, Kyle Bannon was 3-4 with three runs scored for Post 1.

B Fallers had three hits and J Fallers had a pair of hits and scored a pair of runs for Stahl Post.

Post 28 Warriors at Milford Red Sox:
The game has been suspended in the bottom of the 4th with men on and no outs due to darkness, after a short rain delay and field repair.  Milford Redsox are up 5-3. To be continued next time we meet July 7th.

Delvets Post 1 at Middletown Post 25 - Suspended for Darkness Middletown was leading DelVets 5-4 after the 5th inning.  Adam Jones had 2 hits for Post 1 and Julius Ryland had a 3 run homerun for Post 25. Game will be completed July 6th.
