Sunday July 19:
Continuation Game: Delvets Post 1 5, DE Post 1 - 3 (8): In a game that started at Charter and finished in extra innings at Frawley Stadium, Del Vets out lasted Post 1 by a score of 5-3 in 8 innings. Following a great effort by Chase Newman (no hits through 5 innings), the game resumed tied 2-2 in the bottom of the 5th on 7/19 at Frawley Stadium. Del Vets took the lead in the top of the 6th on an RBI single by Jacob Meisel.
Post 1 dramatically tied the game in the bottom of the 7th when Dan Mersman executed a suicide squeeze bunt to score Joel Turk from 3rd base. However, Meisel again proved to be the hero for Del Vets, knocking in the go ahead run in the top of the 8th. Ian Slicer also knocked in another insurance run in the 8th, which would be all Del Vets needed. Caleb Todd had 2 hits for Post 1.
Veteran's Cup Game: DE Post 1 - 6, Delvets Post 1 - 5: Post 1 picked themselves up after an early 5-0 hole and chipped away with timely hitting to come back and win the Veterans Cup 6-5.
Caleb Todd started the comeback in the 3rd with a 2 RBI double. In the 4th, Post 1 added 2 more on a Del Vets error and a Ryan Williams groundout. Post 1 took the lead in the 5th on a 2 RBI single by starting pitcher Sean Gilardi.
Sean Gilardi overcame a long 1st inning to settle in and shut down the Del Vets offense for the rest of the game, recording 5 strikeouts in the process.
Saturday, July 18:
Game 1: R.C. Dupont - 10, Fox Post 2 - 0 (5):
Game 2: R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 3, Fox Post 2 - 2:
Game 1: Post 25 - 10 Post 1 - 5 : Down 10-0, Post 1 scored 5 in the bottom of the 7th to make the game interesting, and bring the tying run to the on-deck circle. Paul Winslow pitched effectively for 4 innings, and Jason Pyle doubled for Post 1. Trevor Powers and Tomlin both had 2 hits each for Middletown, while Matt Taylor's seemingly innocent 3-run homer in the top of the 7th ended up being a huge difference in the game for Middletown.
Game 2: Post 25 - 5 Post 1 - 3: Despite a valiant effort from Post 1, Middletown Post 25 was able to sweep the doubleheader and season series. Matt Hooks led Middletown with a single and 2 doubles (his final double knocking in 2 runs to put Middletown ahead for good). Dan Murphy led Post 1 offensively with 2 hits and all 3 RBIs, while Mike Sorowice also had 2 hits.
Durney Post 27 forfeits 2 games to Milford Post 3 and withdraws from the season.
Friday, July 17:
Post 10 Generals - 4, DE Post 1 - 0: Post 10 shut out Post 1 tonight at Christiana 4-0 in their last meeting of the regular season. Connor Knight records the win pitching 5 scoreless innings with CJ Morton and Eric Rowe in relief.
Strong defense by both teams kept the game scoreless until the 4th inning when Post 10's Connor Knight reached first on an infield single later scoring the first run of the game when Nick Arnold singled on a grounder to right field.
Post 1's Chase Newmann, Caleb Todd, Jason Pyle and Chris Ludman had hits with Chris Ludman going 2-3 with a Double. For Post 10, Robert Malin had the only extra base hit with a double in the 6th scoring JT MacDonnell and CJ Morton who had both reached base on error. Chase Newman records the loss.

Thursday, July 16:
Delvets Post 1 - 8, Post 10 Generals - 5: RJ Edelman came in for Austin Coughenour and gave up no runs over the final 2 2/3 innings to earn the win in relief. D. Rivera took the loss for the Generals.
With the score tied in the 5th Richie Windon scored the go ahead run on an error and Delvets tacked on 2 more in the 6th on a 2 RBI single by Ian Slicer.
Delvets was led offensively by Richie Windon who had 2 hits and 2 runs scored, Ian Slicer 2 hits 2 RBI and a run, Jacob Meisel 2 hits, 2 RBI and a run and Mike Uhle a double, Run and an RBI. Post 10 was led by Eric Rowe who homered and Kyle McDonnell who had a double and 2 rbi's.
DE Post 1 - 11, Durney Post 27 - 2: Matt Schubert earned the win on the hill for Post 1, while Paul Winslow and Jake Gilardi also pitched scoreless innings. Dan Mersman batted 3 for 3 with a double and 4 RBIs and Caleb Todd hit 2 doubles and also had 4 RBIs for Post 1. Brett Anderson had 2 hits for Durney Post 27.
Fox Post 2 - 10, Milford 0 (5): Post three fell 10-0 to Fox Post in 5 innings at Milford HS on Thursday. Jake Williams went 4 innings, struck out 6 and allowed just 1 hit. Garrett Lawson pitched a 1-2-3 5th inning to close out the game.
Fox Post was sparked by Garrett Lawson and Gabe Rivera, who teamed up for 4 RBIs and 5 of Fox Post's 7 hits. Fox Post also showed a keen eye at the plate accepting 9 walks and took advantage of 3 Milford errors.
Fox Post scored 3 in the 2nd, 3 in the 3rd and 4 in the 4th to seal the victory.
Jordan Waters doubled for Milford.

Wednesday, July 15:
Post 25 Middletown - 3, Stahl Post 30 - 2: Both Post 25 and Stahl Post 30 put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was Post 25 that was able to take advantage, pulling out a 3-2 win at Middletown High School that moved Middletown into first place in the standings..
Ryan Zwier was hot from the plate for Post 25 Baseball. Ryan Zwier went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and fourth innings.
Stahl Post 30 jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Stahl Post 30's rally started when Chris Hammond singled.
Post 25 quickly matched Stahl Post 30's strong inning with a one-run inning of its own in the fourth. Post 25 scored on an error and never trailed after scoring two runs in the fifth taking the lead on a sacrifice fly by Ryan Zwier.
On the mound, Post 25 got the win thanks in large part to John Barkley's dominant, six-strikeout complete game performance. Barkley allowed one earned run on six hits and one walk over seven innings.
For Stahl, Brandon Walter threw a very dominant 4 innings. He only allowed 2 hits, striking out 7 with 1BB. The run he allowed was unearned. Sullivan took the loss for Stahl Post 30. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed the two winning runs.

Stahl Post 30 - 11, Delvets Post 1 - 8: Suspended Game
Stahl Post 30 - 3, Delvets Post 1 - 0:
Post 25 Middletown - 16, Milford Post 3 - 1: Post 25 jumped out to an early lead on Milford Post three and captured a 16-1 victory on Tuesday at Middletown High School.
With 10 runs in the first three innings, Post 25 left no doubt about the eventual outcome. An RBI double by Chad Bell, an error, an RBI single by Josh Willey, and a passed ball during the first inning fueled Post 25 offense early.
Matt Taylor racked up five RBIs on two hits for Post 25. He doubled in the third inning and homered in the fourth inning.
Trevor Powers recorded the win for Post 25l. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered seven hits.
Sestito ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
After posting six runs in the third, Post 25 again scored six in the fourth. In the third, Post 25 Baseball scored when Bell was hit by a pitch, plating Kyle Tomlin.
A sacrifice fly scored Matt Hooks to get Post 25 on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Mitch Clemons's double, bringing home Shane Horn and Bell.

Monday, July 13:
DE Post 1 - 9, Milford Post 3 - 8 (8): Post 1 defeated Milford Post 3 in 8 innings tonight by a score of 9-8. In a tremendous back and forth game, Post 1 overcame an early 6-1 deficit to tie the game 6-6 in the 3rd inning.
Post 1 took a 7-6 lead on a 2 out RBI single by Chris Ludman to score Chase Newman in the bottom of the 6th. Milford fought back to tie and take the lead on a 2 out, 2 RBI single by Piper in the top of the 7th. Joey Cautillo's 2 out RBI double in the bottom of the 7th scored Dan Mersman from 1st and tied the game to force extras.
Jake Gilardi held Milford scoreless in the top of the 8th, before he knocked in his brother Sean Gilardi with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th to win the game for Post 1. Joel Turk pitched 4 scoreless innings for Post 1. Bayley led the Milford offense with 2 doubles.
