|Sunday, June 28:
Middletown Post 25 - 15, Delvets Post 1 - 2: (5) Game 1: Sunday was a great day for Ryan Seymour, as he hit two home runs to carry Middletown Post 25 Firehawks to a 15-2 victory over DelVets in five innings.
Ryan Seymour racked up six RBIs on two hits for Post 25 Firehawks. He homered in the second and fourth innings.
Eleven runs in the opening three innings allowed Post the Firehawks to take a lead they wouldn't relinquish. A sacrifice fly by Ryan Seymour and an RBI single by Matt Taylor in the first inning and a walk by Chad Bell, a wild pitch, a sacrifice fly by Jared Gillis, and a three-run home run by Ryan Seymour during the second inning supplied the early offense for Post 25.
Post 25 hit three home runs in the win. Additional home runs for Post 25 came when Ryan Zwier homered in the third inning and Ryan Seymour homered in the second and fourth innings.
Kyle Tomlin got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over four innings. Tomlin struck out three, walked four and gave up five hits.
Eric Moore was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked two and struck out one.
Post 25 closer Nicholas Ruhl put away the final three outs.
Game 2: Middletown Post 25 - 7, Delvets Post 1 - 2: Post 25 Baseball and Delvets traded the lead five times, but Post 25 Baseball ended up on top with a 7-2 win in seven innings over Delvets.
Post 25 took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. Post 25 scored on a single by Jared Gillis off Haines.
Trevor Powers racked up two RBIs on three hits for Post 25 Baseball. He singled in the second, sixth, and seventh innings.
Garrett Maniatis pitched lights out for Post 25 Baseball. Maniatis held Delvets Post one hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Shane Feehery got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over 4 1/3 innings. Shane Feehery struck out four, walked three and gave up six hits.
Haines took the loss for Delvets. He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
Post 25 closer John Barkley put away the final three outs to record the save.
Delvets jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Delvets Post one's threat began with a single by John Harris. A single by Rob Farnen then moved Harris from first to third. Rich Windon singled, plating Harris.
Delvets scored one run of its own in the second. Delvets scored on an RBI single by Harris.
R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 7, Durney Post 27 - 4: Durney scored 4 early runs off RBI hits by Elliott and Brett Anderson. RC DuPont came back in the bottom of the 4th to tie the game at 4 with a RBI single by Brett Nordmeyer and 2 RBI single by Owen Wilhelm. RC scored 2 runs in the 5th inning with a sac fly by Zack Roseman and a RBI single by Chris Mako. Pitchers: RC - Lamiet, Hilllsgrove (4)(W) Durney - Boc (L) Reyes (5). Doubles: D: Br. Anderson, Elliott, RC: Hillsgrove, Russell.

Stahl Post 30 at Middletown Post 25: Postponed due to rain/wet grounds
Fox Post 2 - 2, Delvets Post 1 - 0: Fox Post Two beat Del Vets 2-0 in a pitching duel between Sean Hanhauser and Max Carney. Winning pitcher Sean Hanhauser pitched a complete game shutout with 8 K's and losing pitcher Max Carney gave up 2 runs, 3 hits, with 6K's. In the bottom of the second inning Fox Post scored a run on Joey Haass lead off single, walk, sacrifice bunt and sacrifice fly by Miguel Rivera. Fox Post scored again in bottom of sixth when Garrett Lawson was hit by pitch and pinch runner Carter Chasanov scored on 2 out single by Adrian Hill. Max Carney went 3 for 3 and Owen Linkhurst 2 for 3 with a double for Del Vets.

Fox Post 2 - 13, Milford Post 3 - 3 (5): Fox Post Two beat Milford 13 to 3 in five innings. Milford scored two runs in the top of the first, with William Kimmel and Noah Piper scoring for Milford. In the bottom of the first Fox Post had 5 straight hits, walk, and another single to score 6 runs. Fox Post was led by Sean Pool 3 hits, 3 runs, double, Joey Haass 2 hits, 2 runs, 2 rbis, double and Aaron Jenkins 2 runs, 2 rbis. AJ Johnson was the winning pitcher and Mike Robertson took the loss.
Post 10 Generals - 13, Durney Post 27 - 1 (5): Post 10 defeated Post 27 tonight despite the clouds and rain. After giving up 12 runs in the first inning, Post 27 found their defense and held the Generals to only one additional run in the top of the 4th inning. Post 10's Eric Rowe had 2 doubles and Post 27's Brent Anderson also had a double. Winning pitcher was Tommy Freeland with Troy VanThomas recording the hold and Durney's Tyler Moore taking the loss.

Stahl Post 30 at Delvets: Stopped in the 7th due to darkness. Stahl ahead 8-7. Game will be finished next time the teams meet.

Post 10 Generals - 8, Stahl Post 30 - 3: Eric Rowe had 2 rbi's in the win for Post 10. Morton doubled for Post 10. Pitching: Post 10 - Rivera (WP), MacDonnell(6) and Freeland. Stahl Post Becker (LP), Sayers(3), Sullivan(5), Walter(7) and Wilson
Post 25 Middletown - 6, DE Post 1 - 2: Ryan Seymour went 2-2 as the Post 25 Firehawks took home a 6-2 victory over DE Post one in seven innings at Middletown High School on Wednesday. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Matt Moran picked up the win for the Firehawks. Matt Moran pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out two. Newman was charged with the loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
Post 25 went up for good in the first, scoring one run on an RBI double by Chad Bell, then pushed across one run in both the third inning and the fourth. In the third, Post 25 scored on an RBI double by Ryan Zwier, bringing home Nolan Henderson.
A one-run sixth inning helped bring DE Post one within two. A sacrifice fly by Todd sparked DE Post one's rally. Matt Moran ended the inning by getting Murphy to ground out.
Post 25 quickly matched DE Post one's strong inning with a three-run inning of its own in the sixth. Post 25 Baseball scored on a two-run error and an RBI single by Bell.
One run in the top of the seventh helped DE Post one close its deficit to 6-2. An RBI single by Refner gave DE Post one life. Finally, Garrett Maniatis got Sorowice to end the game.
Fox Post 2 - 12, R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 2 (6): Travis Dill was the winning pitcher and Fox Post Two scored 12 runs on 11 hits. For Fox Post Dakota Graham 2 hits, 2 rbis, Gabe Rivera 2 hits, 3 rbis, Jeff Gary 2 hits and Jake Williams had a double.
RC DuPont was led by Zach Roseman and Brett Hillsgrove 2 hits each. Joey Voge was the losing pitcher.
