DE Post 1 - 4, Delvets Post 1 - 0:
Delaware Post 1 defeated DelVets Post 1 4-0 to win the 2nd Annual Veterans Cup held at Frawley Statdium in honor of all Veterans.
Zach Cooney threw a 2 hitter while striking out 7 to earn the win. Zach also went 2-4 at the plate. After Delaware Post 1 scored 4 early runs by McCraken, Fagan, Dunning & Coyle, Sean Deely settled down for DelVets striking out 7 and not allowing another run to score however DelVets could only get hits by Linkhurt in the 6th and C. Deely in the 7th as Cooney hit his spots.

Stahl Post 30 -7, R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 2
Lonnie Funderbuck had 3 rbi's for Stahl. Tyler Williams, David Summerfield and Logan Gilbert each scored two runs for Stahl. Peralta and Russell each had an RBI for R.C. Dupont.
Post 6 Patriots - 11, Milford Post 3 - 2
Post 6's Trent Hearn batted 3 for 3, scored 3 times and drove in a run while Pitcher Justin Hill fanned 12 and allowed only 2 runs on 3 hits as the Patriots (2-4) beat Milford Post 3 (1-6) 11-2 at Seaford Thursday. The Patriots scored in all 6 innings that they batted, stealing bases (10) and scoring on everything from traditional RBI's to wild pitches.
Milford tried to mount a comeback in the 7th against reliever Ryan Swingle, scoring one run and and winding up with runners on 1st and 2nd, but Cody Wilkerson, playing at 2nd, turned a 4-3 double play to end the game.
Earlier, Wilkerson came off the bench to double with 2 outs in the 5th, and later scored on a wild pitch. Cole Collins also doubled in the game - picking up an RBI. Milford's Curtis Reed took the loss, but singled in Justin Hignutt for the games first score.
Post 25 Middletown - 4, Fox Post 2 - 0
Tommy Spagnola threw a shutout to lift Post 25 Baseball to a 4-0 win over Fox Post two at MHS in seven innings.
Post 25 Baseball's Tommy Spagnola kept Fox Post two off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out nine.
Nick Spadafino was the game's losing pitcher. He walked four, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
Post 25 Baseball stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring three runs on an RBI double by Dominic DiSabitino and a sacrifice fly by Ryan Zwier.Games 6/18
R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 9, Post 3 Milford -7:
RC Dupont rallied to beat Milford 9-7 Wednesday evening with a 4-run 6th inning to erase a 3 run deficit. RC Dupont got the offense rolling early with a lead off single and a double by Vernon in the top of the first. Both scored on back to back sacrifice flies by Vogue and Roseman.
Milford answered in the bottom of the first with two of their own as Curtis Reed and Shawn Snowden each had RBI doubles. In the top of the second RC Dupont scored two runs after back to back singles by Burns and Hillsgrove followed by an RBI ground out, and another Sacrifice fly.
Milford answered in the bottom of the second loading the bases with no outs on 2 singles and a walk, scoring 3 runs on an RBI single by Jan Parson, a sacrifice fly, and a wild pitch. Milford's Justin Hignutt settled in on the mound and held RC scoreless until being lifted in the sixth due to injury. Meanwhile, Milford tacked on a run in the 3rd and 4th to take a 7-4 lead. RC's Owen Wilhelm came on in relief and shut Milford down for the rest of the game and earned the win.
RC Dupont's rally started in the sixth on back to back walks. Hignutt was relieved by Taylor Reynolds who yielded a single to Burns to load the bases, but a throwing error allowed a runner to score. Horstmeyer then delivered a 2 RBI double to tie the score, and later scored the go ahead run on an RBI single by Russell. Dupont tacked on an insurance run in the 7th.

. Stahl had a great night at the plate including 4 home runs for the evening: a 3 run homer from Lonnie Funderbuck in the 1st and a solo home run in the 5th which came on the heals of solo homers by David Summerfield and Logan Gilbert.
Delvets - 6, R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 2
Mike Schell picked up the win pitching 5 strong innings only giving up 1 run. Evan Mosier picked up the save pitching the final 2 innings. Joey Voge picked up the loss going 4 innings and Owen Wilhelm pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief for RC.
Offensively Delvets was led by Shayne Linkhorst 2 hits and 2 runs, Sean Deely 2 hits including a double, a run scored and an RBI, Timmy Parks 2 hits including a double, 2 RBI's, run scored and a stolen base, and John Ratkevic 2 hits and an RBI. RC DuPont was led by Joey Voge who homered and Hillsgrove and Doran picked up the other 2 hits.
DE Post 1 - 5, Post 10 Generals - 4
Jacob Paraskiewicz was the winning pitcher as Post 1 won in walk off fashion when Jeremy Ryan scored from third on a line drive single by Patrick Fagan. Ryan scored three runs to pace Delaware Post 1. Cipolla went 2 for 4 with a double and a triple for Post 10.
Fox Post 2 - 7, Post 3 Milford - 1
Fox Post beat Post Three 7 to 1. Five pitcher combine to lead Fox Post to victory with 14K's. Jacob Williams and Sean Pool both pitched 2 inning and had 5K's each. Brian Spangler 3 hits and Lee Killen 3 rbi's for Fox Post and Post 3 lead off hitter Kimmel had two hits.
Stahl Post 10 beat Durney in a 10 run rule game. Alex Marrs threw a 1 hit shutout with 6 k's in a game called after 5 innings. Funderburk and Summerfield doubled, Logan Gilbert tripled in the game.
Middletown Post 25 - 9, Post 6 Patriots - 4
The Patriots gave up 4 runs (3 unearned) in the first and Ryan Zweir added a 2 run home run in the 4th to lead Middletown Post 25 to a 9-4 win at home Tuesday.
The Patriots Tony Guinta answered with a 2 run homer of his own in the 5th, but Middletown answered with 3 more runs in the bottom of the inning, on a pair of doubles (Garret Maniatas and Rob Pitroli) and Dan Taylor's 2 RBI single to make the score 9-3. Kole Hearn drove in Eric Warton to add a Patriot run in the 7th, but the scoring ended 9-4.
Pitroli paced Middletown with 3 RBIs on 2 for 3 batting. Guinta batted 4 for 4 for the Patriots with the homer, a double and 2 singles. Trent Hearn took the loss for the Patriots.
Delvets Post 1 - 3, Fox Post 2 - 0
Matt Smith and Conner Chasanov both pitched great games. Smith pitched a complete game shutout for the win. Jon Harris, Max Carney and Chris Scorziello sparked the Delvets offense.
Post 25 Middletown - 9, R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 5
Middletown’s Offense took the lead in the first inning with Connor Stevens lead off double and being driven in by Ryan Zwier’s RBI single. RC Dupont responded in the bottom of the first inning with a lead off double by Gilbert Peralta who scored on Joey Voge’s single.
Two more scored in the top of the first inning which was highlighted by an RBI triple by Mike Forwood. Middletown Post 25 plated 4 runs in the 4th inning to take a 6-3 lead with the big hit coming from Matt Hooks’ two RBI single.
RC Dupont battled back in the 6th inning scoring one before ending the inning leaving the bases loaded. Post 25 scored 3 additional runs on 3 hits in the top of the 7th inning.
Brett Hillsgrove pitched 6 plus innings striking out 6 taking the loss for Post 18, Rob Pitroli threw 5 plus innings striking out 8 for the win. Garrett Maniatis and Dominic Disabatino pitched a combined inning and two thirds of shut out baseball to end the game.

Tyler Newton had 6k's in a game shortened due to 10 run rule. Lonnie Funderbuck had 4 rbi's with David Summerfield picking up 2 rbi's and Tyler Williams with an rbi triple

Brandon Walter had 12 k's and scattered 4 hits over six innings of pitching. Lonnie Funderbuck scored 2 runs.
Middletown Post 25 - 9, Post 10 Generals - 0
Middletown brought a strong defensive and offensive game to the field Sunday afternoon defeating the Post 10 Generals 9 - 0. Rybicki, Bell, Horn, and Disabitino recorded hits for Middletown with M. Taylor going 4-4 with a 3 run homer in the 4th. For the Generals, B. Marien was 2-3 with teammates Coleman, Cipolla, Rowe, and D. Rivera recording hits.
Anthony Modica recorded 7 strikeouts for Middletown and records the shut out victory after coming to the mound early in the 1st inning when Middletown's G. Maniatis left the game after being hit by a line drive. Post 10's Eric Rowe records the loss for the day.
