Sunday, July 14th, 2013:
Post 25 Middletown - 3, DE Post 1 - 2 (9):
Middletown came out on top of a pitchers duel between the two teams. Middletown's Bell got a two out walk and Tunnell singled him home for the winning run. Waite hit a homerun and Taylor scored for Middletown. Harris & Hall scored for Delaware Post 1.

DE Post 1 - 11, R.C. Dupont Post 18 - 1 (6): Delware Post 1 won behind strong pitching from Connor Pijuan & Zach Cooney. Jake Paraskiewicz was 3-4 with 2 runs scored and Mike McCracken was 3-3 with 3 RBI's. Nesmith scored for RC Dupont.

Fox Post 2 - 12, Post 10 Generals - 2:
After a strong start against Fox Post 2, the Generals defensive errors beginning in the 4th inning and lack of offense resulted in a loss in Sunday afternoon's game.  Drawing back to back walks and stringing together base hits plated 12 runs for Fox Post 2 with the Generals only able to cross the plate 2 times.  Jordan Hutchens for Fox and Michael Cipolla for the Generals record doubles in the game while Conner Chasnov of Fox scores the win and Michael Jamison takes the loss.

Durney Post 27 at Post 6 Patriots:
Game 1: Durney Post 27 - 3, Nanticoke Post 6 - 0:
In Game one, an ejection with 2 outs led to 3 Durney runs. Meanwhile, Post 27 Pitcher Zach Rumsford was pitching a 3 hit shutout with 9 strikeouts. The Patriots turned a double play, and Anthony Jefferson had a stolen base to cap the highlights for Post 6.

Jacob Bartlett led Durney's hitters with a 2 for 3 day and an RBI.

Game 2: Durney Post 27 - 5, Nanticoke Post 6 - 3: Kole Hearn's two run double in the 3rd inning proved to be the highlight of Post 6's game as they scored 3 runs in the 3rd, but Sean Treml came in for Durney and one hit the Patriots for the rest of the game while Durney put up runs in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th innings.

Meanwhile Tyler Hill had a 3 hit day, driving in 2 and scoring one. Matt Trinica batted 3 for 4 with a run, as Durney pounded out 14 hits. Yosini Martinez and Jacob Bartlet doubled for Durney and Sean Treml got the win in relief of Tyler Lasako

Post 3 Milford at Delvets: Milford forfeits both games due to lack of players.

Saturday, July 13th, 2013:
Durney Post 27 at Fox Post 2:
Game 1 - Fox Post 2 - 7, Durney Post 27 - 1:
Kyle Mace was the winning pitcher giving up 1 run. E Mitchell scored the only run for Durney Post. With the score tied at 1 to 1 in the bottom of the fifth Fox Post scored 6 runs on 5 hits. For Fox Post Michael Pool was 3 for 3(2 rbi's), Kyle Mace 2 hits and Lee Killen had a double.

Game 2 - Stopped by rain after 2 innings.

Post 25 Middletown at Post 10 Generals:
Game 1 - Middletown Post 25 - 8, Post 10 Generals - 5:
Middletown struck first in the top of the first inning with Chad Bell reaching base on a walk to cross the plate off of Blair Tunnels 1st of 2 doubles for the day.  The Generals countered in the bottom of the 4th to score 2 runs from a centerfield home run by Junior Bautista but only held the lead until the 4th inning when Post 25 scored 3 runs on a 2 RBI error by the Generals outfield.  Once again the Generals responded with RBIs by Tyler Hansen, sacrifice bunt from Hunter Rivera and a right field line drive double off the bat of Drake Rivera.  Still it wasn't enough to take away the momentum of Post 25 as they successfully put 4 more runs in the books in the top of the 7th with the Generals unable to answer in the bottom of the inning.  Tommy Spagnolo scores the win for Post 25 with Matthew Downey taking the loss for the Generals. 

Game 2 - Middletown Post 25 - 4, Post 10 Generals - 1: Game 2 saw no victory for the Generals who were unable to overcome the 1st inning 4 run score of Middletown which started with a double from lead-off hitter Shane Horn with a string of solid base hit RBIs by Blair Tunnel, Matt Taylor, Mitchell Clemons and a double by Garrett Maniatis.  While the Generals bats were silent in game 2, starting pitcher Connor Knight held Post 25 at bay thru the next 2 innings with relief pitcher Hunter Rivera keeping Middletown scoreless thru the remaining 4 innings giving up only 1 hit.  Rob Pitroli is credited with the win with Knight recording the loss for the Generals. 

Thursday, July 11th, 2013:
Post 10 Generals - 8, R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 5:

Durney Post 27 - 2, De Post 1 - 1: Durney Post 27 didn't provide Alex Brittingham with much support, but he didn't need much. Brittingham pitched seven strong innings to carry Durney Post 27 to a 2-1 win over Post one in seven innings on Thursday at Stanton Middle School.

Post One's lone run of the ballgame came in the first inning on an RBI single by Zach Figliola. Durney scored a second inning run on a RBI single by Matt Trincia, scoring Evan Mitchell. Matt had two hits on the night.

The lead stayed with Durney after the third, when it scored one run on an RBI single by Tyler Hill,  plating Jake Bartlett who singled and stole second.

Post 25 Middletown - 3, Fox Post 2 - 2: Post 2 - Pool & Killen went 2 for 4,  Post 25 - Blair  Tunnel went 2 for 3. Tom Spangolo gets the win giving up only 3 hits and striking out 7, Kyle Spotts pitched the 7th inning for the save.  Losing Pitcher - Anderson

Post 6 at Post 3 -
Postponed due to wet grounds both fields.

Wednesday, July 10th, 2013:
Durney Post 27 - 8, Post 10 Generals - 3:
In Wednesday's game at Christiana HS, Durney Post 27 finally pulled out a 7-3 win over Post 10 Generals.

Durney finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning, Durney scored on a two-run double by Vince Ruggerio off Tyler Hansen, scoring Tyler Hill and Evan Mitchell.

Tyler Hill was solid at the plate for Durney Post 27. batting 3-4 and scoring two runs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fourth innings. Tyler Lasako was a workhorse on the hill for Durney. Tyler Lasako allowed one earned run, eight hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Durney  jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Durney Post 27's threat began with a single by Yosini Martinez. A single by Tyler Hill then moved Yosini from first to second.
It didn't take long for Post 10 Generals to respond as it scored two runs of its own in the first. Post 10 Generals scored on a two-run double by Junior Bautista. Durney Post 27 went up for good in the third scoring five total runs, which came home on two doubles by Vince Ruggerio and Matt Trinica and an RBI single by Evan Mitchell

One run in the bottom of the fourth helped Post 10 Generals close its deficit to 7-3. An RBI double by David Gibb fueled Post 10 Generals' comeback. Tyler Lasako ended the inning by getting Charlie Ciafardo to ground out. Tyler Hansen was 3 for 4 at the plate for the Generals.

Tuesday, July 9th, 2013:
Stahl Post 30 - 8, R.C. DuPont 18 - 3:
Newton pitched a complete game to get the win.

Post 3 Milford - 3, Fox Post 2 - 2 (8):
With the game tied at 2 to 2 after 4/12 innings, Kain Johnson came In to pitch for Post 3 and pitched shutout baseball for 4 innings and got the win. Kain had 5 strikeout and gave up no hits during his 4 innings.

In the top of the 8th inning with two out Post 3 had three straight singles to score the winning run. Nathan Poore(3 for 4) score the winning run on Eric Belile  two out single.

Durney Post 27 - 5, Delvets Post 1 - 3:
Four first-inning runs helped Durney Post 27 to a 5-3 win over Del-Vets at Stanton Middle School on Tuesday.

Durney Post  held off Del-Vets, as Del-Vets was unable to overcome a five-run second inning deficit. Del-Vets scored three runs in the third on an error and two hit's and two fielder's choices. Unfortunately, Del-Vets wasn't able to take the lead back.

Evan Mitchell racked up two RBIs on three hits for Durney.  He singled in the first, second, and fifth innings.

Zach Rumford got the win for Durney. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Zach Rumford struck out three, walked two and gave up four hits.

DE Post 1 - 2, Post 10 Generals - 0:
Dan Galati & Pete Grasso combined to lead Delaware Post 1 with a one hit shutout over the Post 10 Generals. Post 1 was able to score a run in the first as Zach Cooney scored on Zach Figliola’s single and Pete Grasso Scored on a single by Connor Pijuan. Ciafardo went 1-3 for Post 10.

Post 25 Middletown - 10, Nanticoke Post 6 - 0 (5):
Post 25 scored 8 runs in the top of the 5th inning on 5 hits, 3 walks, an error and two Wild Pitches to beat the Patriots 10-0 in 5 innings.
