Game 1: Fox Post 2 - 12, Delvets -1 (5): Fox Post 2 homered 6 times in the two games played at Delvets. Spadafino had 3 HR's in the 2 games. Seth Penniston was the winning pitching going all 5 inning giving up 1 unearned run.
For Del Vets Timmy Parks was 2 for 3 with a double and Connor Simpson scored their only run. Fox Post had 12 hits with Dakota Graham and Seth Brosius going 2 for 2, Conner Chasanov double, home run, 3 rbi's , Nick Spadafino 2 home run, 4 rbi's, and Lee Killen 2 for 3, home run.
Game 2: Fox Post 2 - 13, Delvets - 3: Kenny Anderson winning pitcher giving up 3 runs, and 6 hits. Brannon Muhugh 2 for 2, 2 rbis and Sean Deely home run for the Del Vets. Fox Post once again had 12 hits with Conner Chasanov 2 for 3, double, 3 rbi's ,Nick Spadafino 2 for 3, home run, 5 rbi's ,Lee Killen 3 for 4, double, home run, 2 rbi's to lead Fox Post Two to sweep of doubleheader over Del Vets.
Stahl Post 30 - 11 , Post 3 Milford - 8: Stahl jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the first inning on 3 singles and an error which set the tone for the first 4 innings of play. B Spence shutout Milford for the first 4 innings allowing only 2 hits with 3 K's. Through the first 4 innings Milford surrendered 11 runs on 8 hits, 2 BB's and 3 HBP.
In the bottom of the 5th Milford's day looked to be done but Stahl surrendered 5 runs that started with a pinch hit single by Justin Hignutt and featured a double by Nick Marsch and 3 run HR by Dylan Sammons. Milford scored 3 more in the 6th on double by Logan Westcott, 2 run HR by Dylan Sammons and solo HR by Curtis Reed.
Dustin Reeder took the hill for Milford with 1 out in the top of the 4th and silenced Stahl's bats. Over the next 3 and 2/3 rds Reeder struck out 3 with 1 BB and 1 hit. For Stahl Newton was 2 for 3 with a triple and Lynch had a double. For Milford Kain Johnson was 3 for 4 with a double, Dylan Sammons 2 for 4 with 2 HR's and 5 RBI's, Nick Marsch had a double and Curtis Reed had a solo HR.
Game 1: De Post 1 - 6, Post 6 Patriots - 0: Nanticoke Post six Patriots wound up on the wrong side of a 6-0 score on Sunday at Seaford HS, tasting defeat at the hands of DE Post one.
Anthony Guinta did his best to jumpstart the offense for Nanticoke Post six Patriots, reaching base two times. He singled in the second inning.
Dan Galati got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He pitched seven shutout innings. Galati struck out four, walked two and gave up one hit.
The game was never in doubt after the first, as DE Post one scored four runs on three singles.
DE Post one built upon its lead with two runs in the second. Grasso kicked things off with a double, scoring Jeremuy Longorio. That was followed up by Pijuan's double, plating Grasso.*Game 2: DE Post 1 - 2, Post 6 Patriots - 1: Nanticoke Post six Patriots' Derek Magee pitched seven innings, but Nanticoke Post six Patriots provided little run support, allowing DE Post one to steal a 2-1 win Sunday at Seaford HS.
Pete Grasso got the win for DE Post one. He allowed one run over two innings. Grasso struck out four, walked two and gave up two hits.
In the second inning, Nanticoke Post six Patriots pushed across its only run of the day on an RBI single by Tyler Absher.
DE Post one never trailed after scoring one run in the fourth on an RBI single by Jacob Paraskiewicz.*Saturday, June 14, 2013:
Post 10 General - 7, Durney Post 27 - 6: Durney Post 27 lost the ballgame after losing the lead in the eighth inning Saturday, as Post 10 Generals grabbed a 7-6 victory in eight innings at Stanton Middle School.
Zach Rumford racked up two RBIs on three hits for Durney Post 27. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings.
Post 10 Generals jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first. Michael Cipolla got things going for Post 10 Generals with a single. Eric Rowe singled, plating Tyler Hansen and Cipolla. Post 10 Generals added more runs when Rowe scored on an RBI single by Hunter Rivera.
Durney Post 27 put up one run in each of the third, fourth and sixth. In the third, Durney Post 27 scored on an RBI double by Rumford, scoring Matt Trincia. In the fifth Durney scored 3 runs. Zach Rumford singled with two outs followed by a rbi double by Kyle Phillips, Brad Nowell was hit by a pitch both advanced on a pass ball followed by a 2 rbi single by Evan Mitchell.
Post 10 Generals tied the game in the seventh on an RBI double by Rowe that scored Conner Knight.
Post 10 Generals didn't relinquish the lead after scoring one run in the eighth inning when it scored on a passed ball. *
R.C. DuPont Post 18 - 15, Milford Post 3 - 5:
Fox Post 2 - 14, Durney Post 27 9: Zach Rumford got on base three times in the game for Durney Post 27. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning. Connor Chasanov got the win for Post two Fox Post. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out eight, walked two and surrendered three hits. Post two Fox Post's Kyle Mace, Conner Chasanov, Seth Brosius and Mike Pool combined for nine hits and eight RBIs.
Post two Fox Post didn't relinquish the lead after scoring five runs in the second inning when it scored on two doubles and a two-run single by Andrew Mace. A one-run third inning helped bring Durney Post 27 within four. An RBI double by Rumford sparked Durney Post 27's rally. Fox Post increased its lead with three runs in the fourth.
Six runs in the bottom of the fifth helped Durney Post 27 close its deficit to 8-7. An error, a two-run single by Evan Mitchell, a two-run error, and an RBI single by Kyle Phillips gave Durney Post 27 life. Post two Fox Post stopped the rally after Sean Pool got Donald Berg to strike out. Post two Fox Post tacked on another two runs in the sixth. A error scored Nick Spadifino to get Post two Fox Post on the board in the inning.
After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the sixth, Durney Post 27 faced just a 10-9 deficit.
Post two Fox Post added four more runs in the top of the seventh. *

Friday the 13th came a day early as severe weather washed out the entire schedule. Some teams have more makeups to schedule than games played to date!

Stahl Post 30 - 6, Delvets - 3: Lance Gilbert had 2 RBIs for Stahl Post
Fox Post 2 - 8, Post 25 Middletown - 5: Fox Post took a 8 to 0 lead after four inning. Post 25 scored 5 runs in the top of 6th inning to make the game close. Leading the way for Post 25 was Conner Stevens two hits and Blair Tunnel double. For Fox Post Kyle Mace had two hits,three runs scored and Seth Brosius was 2 for 2 with 3 rbi's . Winning pitcher Kyle Mace had 6 Ks and Nick Spadafino pitched the last inning with 2 Ks.
DE Post 1 - 15, Durney Post 27 0 (5): Post 1's Andrian Chinnery went 4 for 4 including a triple, he and Pete Grasso who went 2 for 3 scored 4 run's each. Pete pitched 4 innings allowing only 1 of Durney's Hits.
